Twinkle by Asty was founded in 2018 in Kigali by Rwandan fashion designer Asterie Hitimana, born from a quiet yet powerful belief: that fashion is more than appearance – it’s a joyful expression of identity, heritage, and freedom!

Asterie was inspired by a cultural shift – Africans embracing bold prints, vibrant colors, and proud silhouettes. Twinkle by Asty was born as a tribute to this spirit of heritage and individuality.

Rooted in the craft of traditional bespoke tailoring, the brand has grown into a modern fashion house creating made-to-measure pieces for both women and men, alongside limited ready-to-wear collections. Each garment is designed not to conform to a standard, but to honor the unique spirit of the person wearing it.
